Windows 11 is the most recent operating system for computers running on Windows and was released October 2021. A period of free upgrades is usually available for Windows Users upgrading from the previous version (in this case Windows 10) . If you are planning on upgrading from Windows 8 or 8.1 you will first have to upgrade to Windows 10, then onto Windows 11.
