My Favorite Place: Saratoga Springs Library
I was completely tired, after spending 14 hours by plane and 3
hours by car. On July 5, 2024, I came to Saratoga Springs.
Everything was unfamiliar and I didn't know where to spend
the daytime. At that time, the school was on summer vacation
for 2 months. Even though the school was closed, I had to
spend time with my child. I decided to go to the library. Making
library cards was not at all an easy task to me. I was really
happy when I got a library card which was my first card in the
USA. The library looked like an oasis in a desert. In the library,
there are many books, game chips, and special events. My son
and I attended an aquarium program in the library. We
learned and touched about starfish, jellyfish, sea urchin and
horseshoe crab. I met good teachers and made friends while
taking English classes. The Saratoga Springs Library is my
school, community, culture club, rest area, and valuable place.
