For a fee, you can get rid of "techno-trash": including things like, CDs, CD-RWs, DVDs et al, video tape, audio tape, game cartridges, cell phones, pagers, as well as cords, cables and boards from computers. All materials are wiped and then responsibly recycled.

Clothing, Books, records, CDs, videotapes, and DVDs, games, toys, sports equipment, cookware, small appliances, antiques, hand tools and small power tools, linens, curtains, blankets, etc.
Electronics including but not limited to:
CPUs, Flat-screen monitors (no CRTs), Hard drives,
Laptops, Cell phones, VCRs, DVD players, TVs working flat screen (no CRTs)
Keep in mind that used stuffed animals must not be missing any parts or pieces, may not have any stains or smells, and must be cleaned prior to donating. You may also check with your local homeless shelters and safe houses to see if they are able to accept donations.
Books, CDs, and DVDs are okay. No encyclopedias, records, magazines, VHS or cassette tapes. You may be able to schedule a pick-up by calling 518-878-4933. Also, there is a drop box available (no appointment necessary) at: Perry Road Baptist Church, 150 Perry Rd Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
We have coaches available to help you fix your lamps, wooden items, small appliances, computer, bikes or sew/hem your favorite item of clothes or beloved stuffed animal. By appointment only. Location: 15 Vanderbilt Ave Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Saratoga Springs Recreation Center).
