Librarian's Guide for Real World Questions

Do you have a question or need some information and you're just not sure where to start? Check here first!

How to Use This Guide

This guide was created to help answer a wide variety of questions. Maybe the question is complicated, or maybe you just don't know where to start. The purpose of this guide is to give you a starting point by leading you to relevant online tools and resources, SSPL created "Lib Guides", and other SSPL books and materials.

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE: You may notice that some of the categories are general, while others are quite specific. In some cases, we felt that it was more useful to pull out and highlight specific topics that might otherwise get lost in a bigger, broader category. You may notice that with all resources being more or less equal in terms of utility, the items on a page are sorted alphabetically. In other cases, the resources that we deemed most relevant appear first on the list (i.e. Saratoga job search tools appear on the list before N.Y.S. job search tools).
