What goes better with your summer reading picks than a creative bookmark crafted by you?
This guide contains a selection of bookmark crafts that can easily be completed by adults and children using common crafting materials that you may already have at home. You can also stop into the library and pick up a take&make kit at the desk. Make one, a few, or all of these designs to keep track of your place in your favorite summer reads. Each bookmark design was created by a member of SSPL's Adult Services staff specifically for the Tails and Tales Adult Summer Reading Program.
The pictures below show examples of the bookmarks you'll find within the guide. Click on the tabs at the top "Paper Bookmarks" "Felt/Cloth Bookmarks" "Adventurous Craft Bookmarks" and "Coloring Page Bookmarks" for detailed directions, print outs and pictures of each bookmark then get crafting!
