New York Online Virtual Electronic Library
NOVELNY is a Statewide Internet Library connecting New Yorkers to 21st century information including hundreds of magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, maps, charts, homework resources, business resources and reference books that are available to every New Yorker, free of charge. All you need is your public library card, New York driver license -or- New York Non-Driver ID.  NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
